Good old DC is putting its best face on for the Anointing, putting a restriction prohibiting purience for profit around the Capitol and elsewhere in the seat of our government. While I understand this is a temporary measure, I wish they would leave these up in the congressional and senatorial office buildings. They might come in handy.

Wonder if they'll march 'em across the 14th Street bridge into Virginia this time?
What kind of signs do they usually have up?
Usually the "No Parking" kind, which are enforced with far more rigor (vehicles with diplomatic tags excepted.) Shoot, when we were living in the area about 20 years ago, there was a lady of the evening (she herself used the term "ho'") known as Miss Prissy who used to run for local office fairly regularly. I haven't followed up D.C. politics in years, so I don't know if she ever got elected.
