Transportation Miracles
It never ceases to amaze me how, in the space of 12 hours, I can go from the swamps of eastern
Georgia to a cafe in western Germany. While nowhere near the speed of Captain Kirk's transporter, it is still fast enough to confuse the mind. I am reading G. K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy, and am to the part where he describes materialism, determinism and atheism as limiters rather than liberators. I think I can agree, but I would have liked to have more clear examples. Or, perhaps, I would have liked a more clear mind while reading it. A transatlantic flight, for me, is not conducive to pondering weighty matters.
