Musical Interlude



C hasn't felt much like posting as she is getting ready for Christmas.
So, courtesy of our younger son, a musical interlude: An excerpt from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons."

it is always great to hear about some metal/rock band paying tributes to the great old masters. A young Korean sometime ago plays Johann Pachebel's Cannon in D with his electric guitar and the piece was wonderfully performed.

Thanks for your regards, and Christmas blessings to you and your family & friends. Pachelbel on electric guitar sounds like it could be cool--I'll have to see if anybody's MP3'ed or YouTubed that performance. Baroque pieces like these must be a real challenge to a guitarist's skills; I am really impressed with these fellows'work on this.(They're members of the Scandinavian black metal band Children of Bodom and their ususal fare--at least what little I've heard-- isn't usually this lilting!)
